Introducing Shanling M7T Master

Hi-Fi audio is always progressing. There are new components, different approaches to test, deeper knowledge that unlocks fresh possibilities. And Shanling M7T Master is a perfect example of such gradual exploration of sound quality.

The original Shanling M7T was released in the summer of 2025, as our first AKM AK4498EX-based design and as a reference-tuned player. Since then, we have been hard at work on the next generation of our DACs and portable players, along the way experimenting with better control over power supply, testing out some new capacitors and looking deeper into the capabilities of the AKM AK4498EX.

In the end, these small improvements in audio design warranted a new version of M7T. Getting you sound that’s a bit more full-sounding, yet still neutral-focused. Providing a wider and more layered soundstage, with even further revealing clarity. All while keeping the same overall package, price and specification of the original M7T, ready for immediate release to the market.
