Introducing Shanling EC Zero T MAX

New MAX edition builds upon the acclaimed sound of Shanling EC Zero T, implementing the latest Shanling expertise in R2R DACs and following end-user feedback with an improved headphone amplifier.

The upgraded amplifier circuit was designed around AD8397, delivering increased output without any need for external power and achieving significantly reduced output impedance. Making MAX a better match for both the demanding full-size headphones and the most advanced in-ear earphones, all while preserving the rich and warm sound of the EC Zero T.

MAX comes with the same R2R module as the original EC Zero T, featuring 24-bit architecture with 192 high-precision 0.1% resistors. But following the development of our PRO R2R DAC from SCD3.3 and SCD1.3R, we implemented a range of DAC circuit and power optimizations into the MAX, now offering an even wider and deeper soundstage, while enjoying a bit of increased transparency across midrange and treble regions.

Thanks to the upgraded amplifier circuit, EC Zero T MAX provides up to 1300mW @ 32Ω Balanced / 361mW @ 32Ω Single-Ended output power while running directly on its battery and without any need for an external power supply.

MAX edition comes in a smooth Titanium grey finish, featuring a new intricate pattern on the CD cover and adding a few hidden visual elements to its surfaces.
