EC Zero T – Ripping Function Introduction

While our recently released EC Zero T Portable CD Player is focused on the smooth-sounding R2R DAC and Tube analog output, it also offers a bonus CD ripping function. Not as advanced as CD ripping of our dedicated CR60 CD Player, but EC Zero T allows for a simplified 1x speed CD ripping to a connected USB drive while the playback is ongoing.

CD Ripping Guide for EC Zero T:

1. Prepare a USB Drive, make sure it’s formatted to FAT32 and insert it into the USB DC port of EC Zero T.

2. Insert CD and let it load.

3. Press and Hold Play/Pause button until "Ready Rec" in grey shows up on the screen.

4. Playback will automatically start and new message "Rec All" in red will show on screen. If playback didn’t start, press the Play button.

5. Now wait until the whole disc is played, ripping the files to the connected drive.

Tracks will be separately ripped to the USB Drive, into "RIP" folder, using WAVE format.

Note: You can listen to the EC Zero T while it's ripping, accessing settings, controlling volume. But it's not possible to skip between tracks in this mode.
